Aspyr Media, the developer behind the popular game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords, has issued an apology to fans of the game on Nintendo Switch, after the promised DLC was cancelled.

Originally released in 2004, Knights of the Old Republic II is a role-playing game set in the Star Wars universe. The game was praised for its story, characters, and gameplay mechanics. It was later released on various other platforms including Steam, iOS, Android, and now on the Nintendo Switch.

Fans of the game on Nintendo Switch were excited to hear that an updated version of the game would include the "Sith Lords" DLC. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the DLC had to be cancelled.

Aspyr Media, the developer behind the update, issued an apology stating that they "were unable to bring the Sith Lords DLC to Nintendo Switch as previously planned". To make up for the disappointment caused to fans, the company has offered complimentary game keys for other Aspyr Media games to those who had pre-ordered the Sith Lords DLC on the Nintendo Switch.
